Catheter ablation of automatic mechanism idiopathic left ventricular tachycardia
Kim Jin-Bae

Abstract
Focal automatic rhythms occur spontaneously, typically facilitated by catecholamine infusion, but do not initiate or terminate with programmed stimulation. Focal rhythms demonstrate early activation before the surface QRS, but do not characteristically exhibit the mid-diastolic activity that is critical for tachycardia maintenance. Electrophysiologic testing is useful for distinguishing focal and macroreentrant ventricular tachycardia. We reported a patient without a history of structural heart disease, who presented with a automatic Purkinje ventricular tachycardia. The automatic Purkinje ventricular tachycardia was eliminated by radiofrequency catheter ablation and the symptoms of the patient was improved after ablation.
